Conservative Filmmaker Seeks to Disrupt Democratic Debates

Conservative filmmaker Ami Horowitz announced that he is running for president as a Democrat in an attempt to disrupt the party’s nominating process.

He’s seeking 65,000 donors, even at $1 apiece, so that he can be onstage at next month’s first Democratic debate.

but if more than 20 qualify, that would be at the DNC’s discretion.

I have no idea how many have qualified so far.

There would be other requirements , like being a Registered Democrat. I’m guessing Horowitz is looking to set up a lawsuit then film himself standing in the rain outside the venue.

Can't sign on to the giant smear on half the nation, though. Most would not do this, of course.

Btw, I believe the belief of most in their essential virtue and morality is an enormous factor that can be used. Unfortunately, "most" would also have to choose/accept the leader who would bring them back to supporting functioning, cooperative democracy, but it could happen. And we know Trump is causing a significant number to want a much more suitable leader.

which he doesn't have to run.

He will probably collect lots and then run for something else using that war chest.
