Jay Inslee needs 15,000 donors

In order to get on the debate stage.

Jay is my governor and he's a good guy. Although he's not my first choice, I think we need his voice going forward. His focus on climate change can pull the window of debate to this topic.

Hopefully it will also force the republicans to address it as well. That won't be pretty for them and should give plenty of ammunition to whatever democrat wins the nomination.

So send Jay a ten spot if you can afford it.

https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2019/5/8/1856366/-Jay-Inslee-has-reached-50-000-donors-and-needs-15-000-more-for-the-debate-stage?utm_campaign=recent

The DNC standards say that Democratic candidates must get at least 1% in the polls to reach the debate stage. However, many Democrats have entered the 2020 race, so the DNC may eliminate all candidates that do not reach 65,000 donors before the debate begins in June.

are so smart and are in public service for the right reasons.
I’d be stunned to hear if either one wasn’t a really quality good and nice person.
People like them make me proud to be a Democrat.

I thought the article was new. It was posted May 8.

I can't find a current article with the number of donors, though 50k is often mentioned in earlier articles.

His web site says 50k and makes the same plea as the article,

5. Well, I think he'll have to get his own donors, really.

The field is going to need trimming, so candidates who can't make that goal will be the first to go.
