Rudy Giuliani traveling to Ukraine to push for investigation into Joe Biden and his son

Rudolph W. Giuliani, President Trump’s personal attorney, said he would be traveling to Ukraine soon to encourage the newly elected government to investigate relationships between presidential candidate Joseph R. Biden’s son, Hunter, and a wealthy Ukrainian gas company owner, The New York Times reported Thursday.

“We’re not meddling in an election, we’re meddling in an investigation, which we have a right to do. There’s nothing illegal about it,” Mr. Giuliani, a former New York City mayor, told The Times.

“Somebody could say it’s improper. And this isn’t foreign policy — I’m asking them to do an investigation that they’re doing already and that other people are telling them to stop. And I’m going to give them reasons why they shouldn’t stop it because that information will be very, very helpful to my client, and may turn out to be helpful to my government,” he said.

Mr. Giuliani added Mr. Trump was aware of this plan, saying he “basically knows what I’m doing, sure, as his lawyer.”

PERSONAL lawyer. No way, no how, does he have any legitimate place in being in that kind of role.

These people are evil, and we need to put our blinders on as far as the conspiracy theories repukes
throw at our candidates. They're going to try to take them down one by one.

P.S. Dear FBI: time to inspect Giuliani's foreign connections a little more closely.

"Now that Donald Trump has seen that he can accept the help of a foreign government in an election and suffer no consequences, he’s not stopping with simply failing to secure the next election against interference. He’s actively, openly, flagrantly soliciting the participation of a foreign government that is dependent on U.S. assistance for its continued existence. Unable to get America’s intelligence service to provide them with the false narrative they desire, Trump and Giuliani are going around the world to see if they can buy the story they need, by extorting it out of a government that knows it could literally live or die by Trump’s displeasure.

And the one thing that doesn’t get said in the entire discussion about the supposed “scandal” is that the whole thing is backwards. Nothing that Joe Biden did in Ukraine in any way benefited him or his family."

For any hint of scandal, given the amount of scandal plagues this current Administration. But knowing how Trump operates and how he is weeding out journalists, are we surprised?

Biden is going after Trump as if he is the Nominee and Joe is correct to be doing so. I am glad to see Kamala Harris doing it as well. Go after the corruption that is Trump. Hammer home that point and rally the people to ROOT out CORRUPTION.

he meets w some reps of putin to coordinate the ruse/game/plans, that are involved w Ukraine, Iran and Venezuela. Probably North Korea too. Is anyone going w him to record what he does? Or is this another taxpayer boondoggle, that helps cut our throats? Can't really "talk on the phone" about criminal matters bc, the whole world hears it. This is mob style, face to face, head to head, no notes. Hopefully the Secret Service finds a way to bug giulinai or sends an agent w him.

To help get elected by any illegal means needed with disregard for the law shows how much contempt trump and his minions have for the rule of law, and the truth. Politicians who use shaking countries down for personal profits, or to help to be elected has no place in OUR government. trump and the GOP have gone beyond just being corrupt, and criminal now, they are well organized criminals. Those helping them are as complicit in promoting criminals , and their criminal activities.

Don Jr. has been called to testify. It's a two for one shot--damage Biden with a manufactured smear and wreak some vengeance on Trump's adversaries.
