https://www.wlwt.com/article/us-sen-elizabeth-warren-greeted-by-a-rousing-crowd/27442677In a stump speech punctuated by humor and response from the crowd, U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Massachusetts, made her pitch to tristate voters.
The town hall-style rally featured questions and answers from some in the crowd, and an hourlong speech in which Warren outlined her qualifications and vision for the Oval Office.
Many, like Gordon Goodwin, a Miami University student, waited through the early morning hours to get a place inside. Goodwin said he was excited to be up close as the campaign comes to Ohio.
"It really means a lot to get out here and see the candidates like this. It allows you to interact with someone and allows you to be a part of the energy and feel like a part of the movement by supporting these candidates in their run to the White House," Goodwin said.
A crowd of 1,500 showed up to Bogart's concert venue following Warren's vision in a town hall style question and answer session. Warren even addressed the family of Otto Warmbier when outlying foreign policy.
"We have to bring all the pressure we can on North Korea, not only the nuclear program but how it treats its own people, but also how it treats others who fall within its web," Warren said before making reference to the Wyoming student who died shortly after returning to the area from a North Korean prison.

Good news: Potential Sale of Shuttered Ohio General Motors Plant Clouded With Doubt.
'The fate of a shuttered General Motors plant in Ohio remains very much up in the air even after a tweet from President Donald Trump heralded the potential sale of a factory he has shown an intense interest in saving.
Thats because the buyer is a fledgling electric vehicle maker that has never posted a profit, has only about 100 employees and warned this year that it might not have enough money to stay in business.
What the potential deal does signal is the likely end of a half-century of car manufacturing for GM at its factory near Youngstown and continued uncertainty for a battered Rust Belt community that has seen plenty of empty promises. . .
Cincinnati-based Workhorse Group intends to make a commercial electric pickup truck at the facility. Its only production plant is in Union City, Indiana, where it has built about 400 delivery trucks. . .
But there are major questions about its financial footing.
Workhorse has poured most of its money into research and development, with limited sales, losing $36.5 million last year. It warned in its most recent quarterly filing that it didnt have enough money to pay for its operations through the first half of this year and needed additional financing to stay afloat.'>>>
