MANCHESTER As six other Democratic presidential candidates stream into New Hampshire this week, theres solid evidence 2016 presidential primary winner Bernie Sanders has here what they all want a network of committed grassroots supporters.
But there are signs many from Sanders onetime devoted flock are actively shopping around and some already intend to pass next year on the 77-year-old Vermont senator whos embraced the socialist label.
Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., will make her 10th trip to New Hampshire next weekend; former Maryland Congressman John Delaney has done nearly 100 different events in the first-in-the-nation since the beginning of 2019.
Coming off stops in Iowa, South Carolina and Nevada, former Vice President Joe Bidens first 2020 campaign trip here Monday and Tuesday is certain to draw large crowds and easily the most national media buzz of any kickoff since hes become the polling front-runner.

(146,286 posts)They're traveling that way to pitch their benefits. Given the most recent NH polling, it looks like Senator Sanders no longer has a lock on that state. Can he rebuild a majority among Democrats there? I don't know. We'll see.
