Beto O'Rourke to appear in CNN town hall
Former Rep. Beto O'Rourke (D-Texas) will be featured in a CNN town hall event on May 21, according to the network.
The 2020 presidential contender, who narrowly lost to Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) in the Texas Senate race in 2018, will be joined onstage by moderator Dana Bash at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. Bash serves as the network's senior political correspondent.
The town hall will air at 10 p.m. ET.
O'Rourke has failed to gain much traction in recent 2020 polls after his high-profile Senate run.
