Attacks on Regular Joe

If he's good enough for Barack Obama, gosh darn it, he's good enough for me.

would make a great President. I don't understand folks who think otherwise.

4. It's a contest between 'Steady as you go'

versus ‘A patch of blue sky’

It’s the same in almost every primary

Mondale v Hart
Dukakis v Gore
Brown v Clinton
Gore v Bradley
Kerry v Dean
Clinton v Obama

The ‘blue sky’ this time round are Beto, Buttigieg and Harris.

Sanders and Warren are more ‘back to the future’ candidates.

3. I don't care what people on the internet say about any candidate...

...unless it deals with policy. But I don't consider policy based arguments attacks.

5. Biden's record deserves scrutiny

The idea that one candidate in this race should never have to defend their record as a legislator is ridiculous. Attacks on other candidates are called "vetting". "Regular Joe" pushing through a bankruptcy bill that has put numerous young people in crushing debt is not ok with me. All candidates should have to answer for their blemishes.

He apparently doesn’t have blemishes.

6. You might want to avoid calling him Regular Joe.

It could be construed as calling attention to his age.

7. Sorry, being "close" to Obama is not enough

Repubs might nominate someone like Bush 1 because he was "close" to a popular president but Democrats have to do better. Biden should run on the issues and policies, not on pics of him being awarded medals by Obama. So far he's been short on what he would do as president, just that he's not rump. They all say that.

12. At this point....
Fri May 17, 2019, 12:34 PM
May 2019

.... Joe Biden has withstood everything thrown at him. Nothing so far has dissuaded the public from supporting him. Joe's critic's have just been repeating the same thing over and over again hoping for a different outcome. We all know what the definition of that is. If there was anything that could knock Biden's campaign off the rails, his so-called critics would have used it by now. For some reason , some believe that their own candidates of choice dropping in the polls can somehow be remedied by throwing massive amounts of s*** at the wall and hoping something sticks. If what I've seen is any indication, all I can say is, carry on folks. You're doing a bang-up job so far.

I support Kamala Harris because of her positives and what she brings to the table. Posts praising or being critical of other candidates really don't matter much to me.
