Tulsi Gabbard on the Joe Rogan Experience

Last edited Sat May 18, 2019, 07:36 PM - Edit history (1)

A good longer interview with Tulsi where she can explains her platform with time to do so. Starting with her opposition to getting involved in regime change wars. Which many on both parties promote. ie. Venezuela

She is so bright, so well spoken. She'd make an amazing President.

I love how she does not bow to pressure to conform, and will go on any program, or meet with anyone, even places and people that don't agree with her. And for those that get their hackles up about that....do you really want a candidate afraid of their own party? Or needs permission? Or is afraid because they know they will be smeared for that decision? One that stands on their own morals, many times based on their own experiences as an armed service member, rather than checking first? I respect her so much in her courage to withstand smears from corporate lackey politicians and MSM conservatives that are more subservient to supporting the MIC, and approving regime change wars for their corporate donor profiteering.

No superpacs. Totally people funded. You have to respect that. Sometimes it seems as if Democrats call a great game...about supporting country over party, ....as long as its not against a position that the Democratic party leadership is taking. There is no wiggle room. I hope she can get into the debates, because she will blow everyone else away. But I am afraid they will find a way to deny her that because she might embarrass a few of them.

Kooky conspiracies about keeping her off the debate stage, for starters.

that supporters of a certain type of candidate, not all but in greater numbers, tend to see conspiracies when there are none. I suppose that is more comfortable than accepting that other people have different preferences or that the candidate itself has shortcomings.

Either way, this is a Susan Sarandon/Green Party level slur against the party that the DU TOS obligate you to support.

I wouldn't support several other Representatives if given a choice, but they exist and are Democrats, so I am not going to drag them through the mud or insult them on this forum.

By the same token, I won't sit quietly while people slam the party (on a Democratic Site), under the guise of supporting a candidate.

This AT LEAST needs a rewrite

lol

She is against bloating the MIC to engage in foreign regime change wars.....including Assad's Syria. She said on CNN "Assad is not the enemy of the United States" Is that untrue? Have they attacked the US?

And dismissing a candidate because of their numbers at this stage is like dismissing a poster's worth or contribution because of a low post count. Both I find detestable.

In the latest (May) poll of New Hampshire Democrats she garners 0% of the vote. That's down from the 1% she pulled in the April NH poll. At this rate she'll have about minus 10% of the vote come the actual Feb. primary.

I’ve learned from the OP there is an MIC-M$M conspiracy to keep her down so surely that explains the fact she’s not registering. It couldn’t possibly be anything else.

I'm sorry but I see this in here. Of course what's best for the country, and what's best for the party, or if there are positions that can be great for both, or bad for both, can be subjective. One Democrat may not agree with another on that. But I find people get very bent out of shape about what they perceive at least as not agreeing with what the top contenders agree with. Why can't we be more open to ideas and positions slightly different? Isn't that what primaries are for? Gabbard, is for pretty much everything every other candidate is for.

I just find it scary how this demonization of one candidate, especially with the help of the corporate media which is deathly afraid of her, works so well.

She’s at 1 percent in the polls which is probably her ceiling. Why would anyone fear a candidate who shows zero ability to create a movement? Who has no following? It doesn’t make any sense.

I've opened a few of the OPs about her here but always close them down and trash the thread because they seem hateful and almost like CT's claiming that she's a Russian plant. I'm going to keep an eye on her. I liked what I saw.
