I think Someone other than Biden will Win Iowa

I do think Biden will win New Hampshire. But i think the person that wins Iowa or at least comes ahead of Biden (could be more than one candidate) will be the ones that could maybe be a serious challenge to him for the nomination.

I do think it will still be difficult but it's possible . The person will have to be someone that can do well with minority voters.

So it would have to be something similar to what Obama did in 2008 .

The ones I see as those who could seriously challenge Biden are Beto O'Rourke and Kamala Harris but they would have to do well in Iowa like Obama did .

the Above thoughts are just based on how things are right now and assuming Biden remains about as popular as he is right now especially with minority voters. Things like the debates and even just regular campaigning might show others have potential to do well also.

primary today, I would vote for:

But now would be a good time to distract trump by Obama and Biden suggesting President Obama could be his running mate, and mess with trump's head some. He deserves a good scare from them.

I would really like to see one of the younger candidates gain more traction. As you say, current and oncoming problems can be best addressed with a fresh perspective. We need a permanent adjustment - not more backwards looking nostalgia for greatness that was never there to begin with.
Youth would be a bonus asset vs. Trump, too.

All you have to do is look at previous early large polling leads, things can change quickly. A big component of Biden’s big early polling leads is name recognition and familiarity. Once we get in the thick of things a lot of change can happen quickly.

He is not my first choice not in my top 2-3. Again, Reagan was still mentally sharp throughout his first term but by 1987 he was in the early stages of Alzheimer’s or so it seems. Age is an issue.

Some us want someone younger and more dynamic....maybe a female, hey 40 some white guys and one biracial guy. Maybe it is time.....if we didn’t have the nonsense of the Electoral College Hillary would be President. Then there are younger more dynamic men that impress me like Beto and Mayor Pete.

Of course any of them other than Tulsi would be a vast improvement over that mean freak in there now.

it will be interesting to see as the primary progresses if this is true. I know Biden has goodwill from his VP tenure and most democratic voters generally like him. But there is name recognition coming into play and some voters are just wanting whoever they think has the best chance of beating Trump. We are still a long way from voting.

ahead of Sanders. Warren and Buttigieg were nearly tied a couple of points behind Sanders, and everyone else was in single digits.

Biden will win Iowa caucuses.

The old folks (Dems over 50) and the union people and the minority voters will help him win the state. The big question is how big a margin he will win by and if any other candidates will get to 15%.
