Beto O'Rourke: I'd 'absolutely' do a Fox town hall

DAVENPORT, Iowa — Beto O’Rourke said Monday he would “absolutely” do a Fox News town hall — breaking with some of his Democratic rivals who've sworn off the pro-Trump network.

“Absolutely,” O’Rourke said when asked about his willingness to appear on Fox. “This campaign is about going to where people are, and you see that physically in where I show up. But it also has to be in those channels or those social media streams where people get their news and their information. That also includes Fox.”

Speaking to reporters after touring flood damage in eastern Iowa, O’Rourke said he was unaware of any current talks with Fox, but that it's possible his campaign has had discussions.

“Very open to doing that,” he said.

Which is fine by me. Beto went to conservative areas when campaigning in Texas and showed up with the courage of his convictions and managed to actually sell progressive policy ideas to those voters, so why not? Hell, it would be good for those viewers to hear the TRUTH about the border and immigration. Plus, maybe it will make Trump's head explode, lol.

You are not doing your candidate any favors by insulting other candidates.

What makes him a "lightweight"? Both men graduated from Ivy League schools.

How unfair.

There’s simply no comparing a rich boy who spent years (and still does on occasion) drifting around from this to that with a young man who has led a purpose driven life.

Saying “I’m not doing my candidate any good” is hilarious. I’ve seen people pull that with others too. If anyone picks a candidate based on whom another person does or does not like, well - that’s pretty silly imo.

I have donated to my candidate, as well as a couple others. I doubt any of them care one whit what anyone here says about anyone else.
