Biden responds to Trump saying he 'deserted' Pennsylvania

Former Vice President Joe Biden hit back at President Trump for saying the 2020 presidential candidate “deserted” Pennsylvania when he moved to Delaware.

“Well folks, I’ve never forgotten where I came from. My family did have to leave Pennsylvania when I was 10—we moved to Delaware where my Dad found a job that could provide for our family,” Biden said in a fundraising email to supporters on Tuesday

“Let’s be clear: this isn’t just about me. This is proof that Donald Trump doesn’t understand the struggles working folks go through.”

Biden has played up his Scranton roots and “Middle-class Joe” nickname to suggest he understands the struggles of America’s blue-collar workers. He has sought to angle his campaign’s appeal to working-class voters in the Rust Belt who Democrats hope will help them win Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin in 2020.

Multiple reports have emerged that Trump and his allies believe Biden could pose the strongest threat to the president’s reelection out of the two dozen Democrats running in the primary.

,,,but yes, a solid response.

Trump's in touch with one thing, and one thing only...Trump.

The false promise of Trump "fighting" for "the forgotten people" needs to be exposed by Joe, or whoever wins the nomination.

I think the people who were promised things they never received have SOME level of awareness. The level needs to be raised.

Just pointing out facts. Not with vitriol.

And that is the thing that I can’t understand about my rural family that supports him:

Not the ingrained and sometimes overt racism. I have always know that. Not the whole abortion thing, they think Jesus speaks directly to their hillbilly preachers. Always have.

But how all that have overridden their inherent distrust of slick, rich, silver spoon Yankees.

Unfortunately most will never admit their errors.

Fortunately a few a the younger ones have.

...i.e. cadet bone spurs — who was born with a silver spoon in his mouth (and a stainless “steal” speculum up his ass), and deserted everyone he’s encountered — I’m glad Joe responded without descending through the gutter and into the sewer in which demented donnie festers.
