(43,982 posts)I have my skepticism about msm but not taking it to Trumpian extremes. Especially w solid polling data.
As I said above WSJ has broken some significant Trump corruption and Trump Russia stories. I dont like their editorial pages but their news people have done solid work.

(14,565 posts)Quite convenient for Trump, who will be 74. I'm sure he would have no shame in making age an issue, if we nominate Biden or Sanders.
I have to say I would like to avoid either age concern or socialism tag. Everything tends to drift back to the beginning. So forget about the current names. That is the proper approach. Names lead to bias. Just go back 10 or 20 years and ask, "Would a socialist label be a problem for a presidential nominee?" The answer would have to be...of course. Would age 75 and above be a problem for a presidential nominee? Again...the answer would have to be affirmative.
