Audience goes wild as Meghan McCain gets schooled by Gov. Jay Inslee.

https://www.rawstory.com/2019/03/the-views-audience-goes-wild-as-meghan-mccain-gets-repeatedly-schooled-by-dem-candidate-jay-inslee/#.XH3fzF1u-Bk.twitter

Washington state governor and presidential candidate Jay Inslee dropped by The View on Monday, where he ridiculed Meghan McCain’s over-the-top fears about the Green New Deal, laughing in her face at one point.

The Green New Deal “would cost $93 trillion or, to every person in this room, $600,000 for each of your households. Do you think that plan is practical or have you endorsed it, or do you have another option?” asked McCain. “When I hear that an average American is going to have to spend $600,000 for a Green New Deal, you can understand how people like me don’t think that’s logical.”

“Well, this is a lot like the death panels you heard about in ObamaCare,” Inslee replied. “We don’t have death panels and we don’t have $600,000 costs.”

“We’re talking about $51 trillion, the elimination of planes, the elimination of cows, a railway, no planes, I guess nobody can go to Hawaii anymore,” shot back McCain. “It doesn’t sound rational to me.”

“It doesn’t sound rational because those are the things that Donald Trump said,” Inslee replied with a look of frustration on his face. “We are not going to eliminate cars. We are not going to eliminate trains. We’re going to have what I have in my driveway today which is a blue GM Bolt made in Michigan with American workers.”

13. Repetition makes it true, to them. I m not aware of why AOC taking Uber has anything to do with this

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s campaign spent $30,000 on 1,050 Uber rides.

How do they know that? Why do they care?
It's amazing to me how they get one thing and stick with it. Well not amazing it works on their kind. This is why I listen in to talk radio - you get early on kernels of what's coming and you also listen as a story blooms into some other sort of whackiness

I think the would have been a good VP choice for HRC, and depending on the candidate, he could also be a good 2020 choice. He's been great on immigration, too.

points, FFS. No planes ? No trains ? No cows ? No hamburgers ? $93 Trillion ? $600,000 per household ? C'Mon. Meg, even you can't be that stupid.

You're just regurgitating trumpy-talk. My governor has got some great ideas and NOBODY else has finally put the climate problems in the national spotlight regarding the national security perspective. Yeah, Jay. He may not get the nomination, but he WILL get the point across. And the younger voters want to hear this. NOW.
