had been reported...more recent polls posted today do not show a 'shake up'... and I would point out the margin of error is +- four

"The poll was commissioned by the Focus On Rural America organization, which has been running quarterly polls on the Iowa Caucus this year. It surveyed 600 Iowans by cell phone and landline right after the debates, between June 29 and July 1, and has a margin of error of no greater than +/-4.0%."

Thus at best it is a statistical tie...and right after the debates not less! Thanks for posting this...I think Biden may very well win Iowa!

I think this is less about the debates and more about Iowans loving attention. If I were advising Biden, I'd tell him he needs to spend more time in IA.

and if the survey mentions the debate even more so. Well, Harris had a good night, Biden had a bad one, or at least every pundit swears he did (that was not my impression by the way), so that's what these polls are going to show today. Next week, probably less, and so on.

Rachel feeding Bernie a question about his Iraq AUMF vote when they were supposed to be going to a break was about as obvious as it gets. Fortunately Bernie chose not to make a spectacle of himself and gave a reasonable answer.

Even with his "name recognition" it's clear that BS is being rejected. He's in a statistical (MOE) tie with newcomer Mayor Pete who doesn't have the same name recognition of BS.

Pete's done very well for himself. I'm very impressed with him and I think he's a likely contender for the VP slot. It's becoming increasingly apparent, however, that BS will not be our party's nominee and the eventual nominee will not select BS as the VP, because the best VP candidate will be one who can "take over" and continue on, and BS isn't likely to want to do that in eight years from now... but Pete or Harris would be well suited to do so.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
