And I have noticed, once again, that whenever Marianne's name is mentioned the nastiness from some of us begins. When we diss Marianne we are doing a huge disservice to ourselves and an enormous favor for our enemies.

She may not have a chance in hell, but she has a right to run for office. She is also a Democrat. She is also a woman. If she believes that Love trumps Hate, or that Light will defeat Darkness then so be it. There are a lot of folks who feel the same way, or she wouldn't have qualified for the first debate.

Snarking her like many on this site have been doing, is exactly what our enemies strive for. So please stop it. Talk about her dubious qualifications, or talk about her lack of experience.. whatever.. but please leave off with the snide personal remarks about her spiritual beliefs. We should give her a lot of credit for having the courage to speak her truth in this horrendous trump induced climate of divisiveness and cynicism that we are all feeling, some of us are feeling it to the bone.

And this plea goes out for ALL of our candidates, especially those who are jabbing at each other right now.. negativity towards each other is the only "trickle down" that actually seems to work.

We all have the same bottom line -This election really must be Blue No Matter Who this time..there is no other choice.

All I was saying is we should be more mindful of how we talk about all of the candidates. Marianne Williamson may not be at all qualified, but that is no reason to attack her personally.

This would be a great time for the Democrats to show people how to respect their opponents.. Disagreement, discussion and debate are healthy ways to learn.

She earned her place up there. Her approach is unlikely to obtain significant votes to continue but so what. Everyone is entitled to run for president if you are a citizen and natively born. Does that mean everyone is right for the job of course not. But she has worked hard enough to be on that stage. I know I have made some private jokes with my wife about her candidacy but that's private. This... is bullying.

I would also like to point out that some of the men that were on that stage came off as awkward if not more than Williamson. Where are their memes
