Could it be that certain Trump voters connected to Trump because he made gaffs

and was not perfect? Some of these people might find the same in Joe Biden? Maybe these same people connected to George W Bush and Reagan for the same reasons on top of the racism and usual GOP wedge issues. Worth a look.

primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

6. Is it *possible*? Sure, it is possible that some fraction of low-information morons think ANYTHING.

But someone who makes the claim that they like Trump because he makes gaffes and they also make gaffes is more likely than not an asshole who, like Trump, frequently says disgusting, disgraceful things which are offensive to moral, honest, honorable people, and they are very, very pouty about the response they face for that behavior.

7. There may be something to it. Politicians are usually careful with their words,

so gaffes are embarrassing. But people gaffe in casual conversation all the time. You and your friends just laugh together and move. So if you want to seem like a regular guy and not a stuffy politician, a few gaffes may help you.

for why people vote for "stupid" candidates. A lot of people think Trump is stupid, but I think he isn't. He just put all his brainpower into one topic - media manipulation - and never bothered to learn about anything else. He uses the media to project an image to his audience. If that image is enhanced by gaffes, he'll do it on purpose.

to reel them in.

He has street smarts and was able to successfully con tens of millions of people to march to the polls and vote for him, by speaking their language. He did it before and I am convinced that he is capable of doing it again....
