Most of them I would say thanks for trying! But there are about one or two in which I would say: Go away! We don't want you! Plus those campaign donations will be drying up soon.

But they want to build their national brand (that translates into money and a better chance at their next election). A few probably want to shine to they'll be considered for V.P. Most probably want to continue getting donations because they get to save that money for their next campaign.

So as long as more money comes in than is going out, they'll probably stay, I guess. Until they are denied access to the debate stage.
