Biden can do it for ONE term to get the country back to "GO"

Stacey, O'Rourke, Gillium, Booker can do so much to get the Democratics to the polls. Get them excitied and out to the polls. Use all the newly eclected progressives to shape the message and the main issues. There are enough legitimate scandals involving the Trump administration and its GOP supporters. Keep those scandal before the public eyes and ears. Don't just depend on Mueller. It's up to us. We see the collulsion, corruption, crime right before our eyes. We don't need another investigation or report. We need to get rid of the GOP and the Trumpsters and the as many of their judges as we can. That's where our focus should be. A coordinated effort by a very, very diverse, serious, angry, and competent, patriotic, inclusive and UNIFIED Democratic Party!

"It's up to us."

It really is that simple - we must GET OUT THE VOTE!

There are enough people that know right from wrong, good from bad, truth from lies. We need them to go to the polls and VOTE!

...my politics, my needs and concerns aren't centered around the 'moderate' side of the Obama presidency.

How about Biden start right now by unifying behind one of the announced candidates? It's that simple.

'Eclected progressives, Democratics...' JFC.

Talking about unity when he's effectively jumped in to slow walk the change these candidates and others are demanding is going to depend on his conduct, as well.

If, God forbid, he dies in office, he will have an able-bodied youger VP to step in.

But heck, look at RBG!!! Uncle Joe can do that too!!

...Biden isn't any more of a lock on the win than ANY of the other major candidates.

Putting the nation in that precarious position is one of the most irresponsible things someone could do in that role. One, it's transparently disingenuous, not to mention dangerous and foolhardy.

No one needs Biden to chaperone them to victory. That folks are seriously considering a two-time Dem prez primary loser as a formidable candidate is either the result of political amnesia, or an unhealthy and unsupportable view of Trump's potential strength in 2020.

Nobody has lock on the nomination, no matter what some people say. I like Joe, but he has baggage, and trump will go after everything he can dig up on Joe. We know that is what trump does, dig up dirt and use it on his enemies, and he has all kinds of help in doing just that.

I really want to see all the candidates debate the issues. I have two favorites right now, Harris and Inslee. I could change that later on, but for now they are at the top of my list. One things if for sure, nobody is locked in right now.

76, gaffe-prone, white male, a ton of baggage, twice failed to come anywhere close to getting nominated...nobody would be clamoring for such a person if he hadn't been Obama's VP. And being Obama's VP doesn't erase all the negatives. He's not just Uncle Joe who pals around with Obama buying burgers and ice cream. He's not a slam dunk. He's an individual with a lot of flaws, who doesn't reflect where we are at this point in history. We can do better.

"We don't need another investigation or report."

We DO need to keep investigating trump and his family so the PUBLIC can actually see how bad trump and his "cult" really are for this country. NOT keeping up with the investigations would be a huge mistake.

You seem to go back and forth on what you want from day to day. I wonder why?

I think he has a very good chance finally and if he gets the nomination I shall vote for him...but if he wins the presidency I strongly doubt he'll oblige to being a one and done POTUS. To run for POTUS you have to have an ego and in Biden's case to run for a third time his is massive. I don't even mean that in a negative - anybody who says to a nation of 300 million that only he/she can right the wrongs has it. Even Jimmy "I will never tell a lie or a misleading statement" Carter (who I adore) had an ego.

Biden is not going to walk away from being the most powerful political figure in the world to appease some people. Especially if it becomes common knowledge that an arrangement is in place because then he essentially is a lame duck President after the mid-terms.

The immense benefit of regaining the presidency in the first place is that the re-election cycle is basically a freebie. Almost impossible to lose that second race unless the president is considered incompetent.

But if the president does not seek re-election then you are starting over and the enormous situational benefit is essentially forfeited.

We need to forget about Biden and Sanders and nominate from the suitable age. I have to laugh every time I read that 78 is the new 58. No, 78 is the current 78. The same ones who believe 78 is the new 58 have been expecting Trump to step down from office or be removed by Mueller. Happy Adjusters fail. We need to rely on tried and true normalcy.

primary today, I would vote for:
