Beto O'Rourke Calls Trump's North Carolina Speech 'An Impromptu Nuremberg Rally'

https://www.mediaite.com/politics/beto-orourke-calls-trumps-north-carolina-speech-an-impromptu-nuremberg-rally/

2020 Democratic hopeful Beto O’Rourke called President Donald Trump a racist on Monday — and compared his recent campaign speech to a Nazi rally — in an interview with ABC News.

“Yes, President Trump is a racist,” O’Rourke told ABC. “What we saw in North Carolina last week was almost an impromptu Nuremberg rally.”

O’Rourke said the rally incited “racism and ultimately, I think, implicit in that is violence against people based on the color of their skin based on their religion based on their difference from the majority of Americans.”

“We are complicit in our silence or we stand up against it. And then also stand up for what we know this country can be.”

He also knocked members of Congress who have been silent in light of Trump’s remarks. “Silence especially from members of Congress who hold a position of public trust and power, silence is complicity in what the president is doing,” O’Rourke said.

Beto would say the exact same thing to those young men. He never, ever, ever adjusts his message or what he believes based on who he's talking to. He almost beat Cruz and broke records in Texas by doing this...having the courage of his convictions and taking that message EVERYWHERE and to EVERYONE. This is in NO way pandering...it's what he genuinely believes and he is NOT afraid to say it.

a little bit charisma, a little blunt, a little down-homey, a bit visionary, and a great sense of timing - all while being so genuine.

No matter our ticket in 2020, we need Beto to weigh in during moments like these, with observations like he delivers.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

There's nothing good or moral about Trump and his nazi henchmen. They belong in the dock, being tried in an international tribunal for crimes against humanity.

There was nothing impromptu about that rally. Not the racism, not the chants, nothing. It was planned out to get the result trump desired.

Edited to add... trump has finally realized Clinton isn't running against him and needs a new version of Heil Hitler aimed towards different women.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
