Projecting that historic achievement, of course, to her quest for the presidency.
If you take the time to listen to what she's saying here, you might not, might not distort it quite so much.

Her father is still mostly estranged from his children, living in Jamaica.
None of Kamala Harris' accomplishments were just handed to her. She worked as hard as anyone, graduated from Howard U. and found her place in public service.
When it comes to politics and any higher office or profession for black Americans, discrimination, and racism doesn't recognize of distinguish class in their limiting effect.
