The Joe Biden 5-Point Plan

I like this plan https://politicalwire.com/2019/03/13/the-joe-biden-5-point-plan/

Mike Allen outlines the case that Joe Biden is expected to make if he runs for president:

The great white (voter) hope: I can bring back the rural, white, mostly male voters who sealed the presidency for Donald Trump. Think Wisconsin.

I’m liberal — just not that liberal. And too liberal won’t win.

Been there, done that: In this dangerous chaotic world, we need a steady hand — not someone who’s playing or practicing president.

Remember last year when I said: “If we were in high school, I’d take him behind the gym and beat the hell out of him.” Well, game on: Trump won’t intimidate or bully me.

If you’re looking for a rising star, there’s a low-risk place on the ticket — next to me.

A Biden/Harris or a Biden/Beto team would be hard to beat

BS is never going to release his tax returns. If BS had any intention of releasing them, it would have already been done.

It's not like they're "incomplete" or anything. It's not like they're "still working on them" or anything. After all... if they were complete enough to submit to the IRS, then those tax returns are complete enough to release to the American public.

No... something tells me that someone has made a deliberate decision to NOT release them. Someone on the campaign has weighed the pros-and-cons... calculated the pluses-and-minuses... and determined that the "fallout" from not releasing the tax returns is more acceptable than the "fallout" of going ahead and releasing them.

All I'm saying is that's certainly what it appears to be and it's a logical conclusion to make... there's simply no other reason that any "serious" candidate would do something that's tarnishing their campaign, reputation, and making people question things like integrity and honesty.

In the end, it simply makes no good sense for this strategy to continue. As voters, we deserve to know where a candidate's money comes from, where the spouse's money comes from, how it's being invested, where it's being saved (domestic or offshore), what charities (if any) or other contributions (if any) have been made, and whether the taxes have been properly paid... or whether there are other potential conflicts of interest that we voters should know about BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE.

5. Pride comes before the fall.

I have nothing against Biden...but going with him just seems like looking to the past for solutions. I'll be interested to see what his actual plans are regarding his policy stances.

...while disingenuously portraying Biden's opponents as "too liberal."

White males already receive the lion's share of almost everything that is successful, profitable, or influential in America, so it's unremarkable to me that this white male is planning on embracing other white males.

The 'steady hand' nonsense is just chest-thumping. If he can't find ways other than machismo to confront bullies, he's angling to become the new bully on the block. I don't need a fist-fighter, I need a leader acting on issues and concerns that actually affect our lives with humility and compassion.

None of our candidates need Biden to shepherd them, or chaperone them into the WH.
