https://www.mediaite.com/trump/fox-news-shepard-smith-smacks-down-trump-tweets-trashing-fox-the-polls-were-accurateThe polling shows Joe Biden beating the president by 10%. As Smith put it, Same spread as last month and outside the margin of error.
Trump took to Twitter to rail against the poll and claim Fox polls have always been terrible to him:

The Fox News poll did have President Trump losing the popular vote to Hillary Clinton and the Fox News poll was accurate, Smith said. The final survey was done November 3-6 of that year. Among both registered and likely voters, the poll predicted Hillary Clinton would beat Trump by 4 percentage points So Clinton would win the popular vote by a margin of between 1.5% and 6.5%. She did. Her margin of victory was 2.1%. Close to three million voters. The polls were accurate.

(4,341 posts)I believe repubs are making a lot of noise about Biden because they want Biden to be the candidate, I feel we are taking the bait here.
I know this will not be popular with Biden supporters, and I will definitely vote for Biden if he does become the Democratic nominee, but I have my reservations about Fox doing this poll. Both the creature and the republicans want Biden to be the nominee. Why? we need to ask, and in my opinion, we must take time to analyze before celebrating something Fox did because it agrees with us.

(4,341 posts)If you study Biden though the years you will find that one of his biggest faults, besides saying the wrong things at the wrong time, is his wanting to be liked, and that is why he lives under the fantasy that he, and no one else, can negotiate with republicans. During the 1st debate it was made clear that the only way he negotiated with "Mitch" was a loss for everyone but republicans and we are still paying for it, and that is the only way repubs will negotiate with Democrats, only if its a win for them and a loss for everyone else.
Every time I heard Biden call McConnell "Mitch", I cringed because I know "Mitch" was calling him something else besides "Joe".
I am concerned that the republicans, Russian (trolls), the media (even MSNBC) seem to be eager to sell us Biden, that is one of the reasons why his percentages are up, beside "facial recognition", but to defeat the repubs our candidate cannot go with an attitude that he wants to be liked because he will end up pandering and not attacking the creature, while the creature will be as vile as he can be. One last thing, repubs have a lot on Biden and they intend to use it against him.

(13,058 posts)in an effort to show that they are legit. Don't fall for it folks. Shep enables them to continue to give a forum to the likes of Hannity and Carlson. If Shep really cared he would resign from FNC and join a legitimate new organization. But instead he is laughing all the way to the bank with his big contract at Fox.

(26 posts)Fox hires a team of Democrats and Republicans who conduct this phone and they nailed the popular vote in 2016. Their TV shows are crap but their poll is good.
