Finley: In Detroit, it's Biden vs. everybody....🎨😎

"The central question is can he turn his record into an asset?" says pollster Richard Czuba of the Glengariff Group. "Do we see the old Joe Biden in Detroit, the one who was prepared and feisty and charming on the stage?"

Democratic strategist Howard Edelson attributes Biden's lead to his being a moderate, and that he's prepared to be president on Day One. In Detroit, he says, "Biden has to demonstrate he has the energy and fight in him. And he can’t be pulled too far to the left. That’s why he’s staking out an important position on health care, saying let's fix Obamacare, while the rest of the candidates are saying Medicare for all."

Edelson and Czuba agree that Biden owns the moderate space in the Democratic race, and there's no room for another candidate to compete there.

"A lot of candidates are working the left side of the party," Czuba says. "That helps Biden. They’re leaving him with the more moderate and older voters, who are going to decide the nomination."

As her later revealed messages to several people proved. So to cap it off she was a Bernie supporter, she was a Hillary supporter. She sent messages saying she only pretended to support Hillary and she would have done the same for Bernie except people were mean to her.

There's a word for that, probably more than one.

Then, when she got constantly slammed for daring to try to discuss Bernie's problems dealing with racial issues, she took a look at HRC and found that her antipathy toward her was unjust.

My point stands unrebutted. I didn't expect a thoughtful response but I thank you for being so predictable and continuing to provide a perfect example of how Democrats should not be: defensive and divisive. I am not perfect, by any measure, but I do a decent job of getting to the point and sticking to it. Thanks to you and a number of other posters I am also getting better at dealing with evasion.

I repeat, if you agreed with my point that most of us could not care less about your labels and that most of us want to defeat Nazis, you could have simply agreed. But you chose to deflect and get defensive. Now you mock.

You make my point. I have no hope of reaching you, but I suggest to my fellow Democrats that this kind of thing is exactly what we don't want and exactly what we don't need.
