(7,515 posts)What a ridiculous comment. Sorry to burst your bubble but people on DU are better informed than those just answering a poll. The fact Warren continues to rise while Biden falls says something.

(8,231 posts)No shit that folks on DU are better informed but hate to break it to you but that ain't the rest of America.
The DU poll means NOTHING.

(7,515 posts)Whehter she "shoots up in the polls" depends on a lot of factors; it's not always a direct coorelation. Biden supporters seem to think his lead in the polls is some kind of great validation, but that can easily change with gaffes and a bad performance. Right now, they are clinging to those polls as if they had nothing else. They had better hope that's not the case.
And, hate to break it to you, but polls at this point mean NOTHING when it comes to who will be the Democratic nominee. Previous polling has shown that. As the voting comes nearer, people will become more informed, just like those on DU.

(273 posts)the Democratic Party. She has been relentless on her tour of the country putting out her policy beliefs. Biden is the status quo, boring and past his time. I want a progressive agenda moving the country forward for real change. The answer is Liz and Pete on the same ticket. Both of these people will not make major gaffes and speak plainly and communicate effectively with people.

(39,370 posts)Biden, otoh:
When asked who has been the most passionate so far, Warren and Sanders each had 28%, while Biden had just 14%. Warren, who has touted her policy proposals, was seen as the most specific candidate, with 42%, while Harris was seen as the strongest with 32%.

(7,142 posts)Joe should have had an answer ready for why Obama deported more people than Trump? He should have known he was going to get that question. It's the law wasn't a good answer.
Looks like YANG - WILLIAMSON - 2020. They both actually did quite well.

(167 posts)I did think the piling on of Joe Biden was unseemly from the other candidates though.
