wow. Joy Reid is saying Biden did fine

And his support amongst the African American community will remain strong.
Its surprising given how critical she has been of Biden in her past broadcasts.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

That was my own take. I thought he was pretty bad last time (and same in the forum I saw where Joy Reid was actually questioning him), but he was better this time. "Fine" is a reasonable description, I'd say.

Thx Joy!!

And indeed Biden numbers continue to be very good among AA voters. A voting block that will have to be in place for the dem candidate to win as was shown in the 2016 election where AA voters stayed home in droves!!

I caught some of her show last weekend and she was ripping into Biden really hard (and unfairly), saying he expects a coronation, yada yada. It was a bunch of attacks based on stuff she couldn't possibly know (since it requires mind reading). I'm guessing someone at the top saw it and finally said enough is enough.

scared of trump winning and have flocked to Biden because he's a white guy who can win. There's a tiny kernel of truth to that, but it's not the entire story. She has refused to allow for the possibility that some of us actually like Biden, and that's what has made her analysis so annoying and offensive. I'm so glad that someone talked to her about this. Maybe it's not too late to save her show.

... then how would she look next year with all her anti-Biden talk? Joy Reid is a smart woman and she's been around the block a few times. And yes, maybe the NBC bosses told her to back off. The hosts cannot be picking favorites, nor can they campaign for/against any candidates while they're on the air.
