Shows me that a lot of folks don't care about ideology at all, but decide based on all sorts of reasons that are personal and have little to do with actual positions and whatnot.
Having said that...we know neither of those guys are going to be in the mix come 2020 unless it's as potential VP candidates.
These debates just don't mean much for anyone to be honest...practice for some, job interviews for other.

(2,550 posts)It's still anybody's game. Trump and Obama both came from behind. I don't know about the Bush years elections.
I personally think a lot of the ideologies do not matter because of the Senate and I believe in general all of the candidates are for the same general principles.
I thoroughly enjoyed tonight's debate.
