(7,447 posts)I'll be honest, that's fine and probably a smart move, but I really don't care if someone takes money from a corporate PAC if I believe in them and think they are trying to do things I agree with.

(1,810 posts)It's not my claim. It's a known and understood fact. Going to the great google and painstakingly typing in "Harris PAC" would have given you all you need.
There is a couple more million of PAC money she has accepted as well.
As I said, major change.

(1,124 posts)I am not here to criticize ANY Democratic candidate. And even that online link didn't support your new claim:
"There is a couple more million of PAC money she has accepted as well."
BTW, did you take the time to listen to her short speech, at the link that I provided?

(1,124 posts)But, while I refuse to do your homework, I did find valid NEWS sources - like the Washington Post - that clearly report her current position on PACS is a "shift."
Other NEWS SOURCES report that "Harris will no longer accept PAC money."

(1,810 posts)You then act like you don't trust the source. Absolutely hilarious.
"her current position on PACS is a "shift." "
No? You don't say? I think I might have told you that and fully backed up my claim.
This has been fun. Thanks.

(1,124 posts)Our little debate obtained more readership and recommendations for this thinly veiled fund-raiser for Kamala Harris!
Please take the time to read her short - but impressive - speech, at the link that I furnished.

(48,959 posts)The no-corporate-PAC pledge is popular. Its a symbolic expression of a candidates commitment to reform, Fischer says. But it may not make a huge dent in their fundraising.

(58,785 posts)The right's going to have to speed up its takeover. This is a bigger threat to the wealthy's influence in government than even the Democratic house's election reform bill -- because the ability to solicit and send small, direct contributions by computer can't be repealed or amended. They could make it illegal or unreasonably difficult, of course.
