I'm thinking of making a minimal donation to Tom Steyer, the billionaire....

...just to get him on the debate stage.

Because he is sure to keep the impeachment issue front and center.

Would it be worth it?

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

1. I am going to do the same, but waiting to see if he gets one more qualifying poll.

Right now he has two qualifying polls, but he needs four. If he gets one more relatively soon, I imagine he will get a fourth by the debate cutoff, so, I will send him a donation if he announces that he has gotten that third poll.

Also, I just donated to Inslee for the same reason: I really want him on the debate stage.

16. Anything close to 10 on one stage is still going to be a problem. Better to split on two nights

and at least have a smaller group in each. At least then the questioners can allot more time for response. Six and six seem optimal to me.

Inslee is already front and center on the issue of climate, we don't need another rich person telling us what not to do while he goes and does what he would prohibit us from doing.

are the people who have a reasonable chance of actually winning the nomination and are serious about their candidacy, and are not just doing it to advance their pet issue (however meritorious it might be), to gratify their egos or to sell self-help books.

If Steyer wins the presidency, impeachment will be practically moot. Then what would he do in office?

No, I’d rather it be someone with at least some political experience.
