(102,231 posts)who released a strong statement defining this as WHITE TERRORISM.
I have to credit the younger Bush for doing so even though I obviously am no fan of his father or uncle.
This is the kind of post that makes it awkward to be restricted to a Primary forum, because the issue is so much bigger than that and it feels wrong to make it purely a political issue. But, since it is, I will give kudos to Buttigieg for a strong statement.

(8,201 posts)How to highlight our Democratic officials' and candidates' statements without seeming opportunistic? But in the end, the solution is political, just as the incitement to violence and obstacles to gun control have been political.
I'm glad our candidates are speaking truthfully and powerfully about it. And yes, kudos to Bush for speaking out as well. We need Republicans to call this out for what it is, too, or it will only get worse.

I've said it before and I'll say it again:
The greatest threat to America that trump poses is his ability to reach all the way to the street level to ordinary citizens, radicalize them and manipulate them into carrying out violence against citizens who oppose his regime.
trump is not America's president, trump and the republican party are her enemies.

The reaction to what he said ought to be, "Well no shit. And water is wet."
