There are over 145,000 comments. If you sort by "Top comments" (most recommended) and scroll down, you can see those posts are overwhelmingly positive. If you sort by "Newest first" and scroll down, you're looking at a very tiny sample - it's still more positive than not but plenty of communism sucks and nothing is free posts. Doesn't mean much statistically but definitely more of a mixed bag.
Glancing through the comments though, especially looking at the most recommended, the first theme I noticed was how much people appreciated the tone and format of the conversation. Those are the most popular posts on a video with almost 8 million views, 145,000 posts. There is a recurring theme praising the show for substance and dismissing the soundbite mentality of mainstream media. This is a Joe Rogan Experience Youtube video, not a channel dedicated to politics. I think more "average" people out there actually would like to listen to a reasonable person give honest answers about things that affect their lives than the politically "informed" give them credit for, even if it does take an hour.
If both the interviewer and the person interviewed are discussing things honestly, the discussion becomes interesting.
