One talk show host is particularly happy about new polls showing Biden's "in trouble"

Sean Hannity has been tweeting about yesterday's NH poll showing Sanders leading in NH, and today's YouGov poll showing Warren only 1 point behind Biden.

Now, maybe you think Hannity is a closet progressive who really wants a left-wing Democrat in the White House...

But I think it's much more likely that he and his pal Trump have been most worried about Biden, and they're very happy about the possibility that Warren or Sanders will be the nominee instead.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

Sanders forged some relationships in the mid west 16 but I still think he loses as general..but a better shot than Warren.

She is the liberal Senator from Mass, that will not fly there and she's a woman. Everyone keeps treating this like a popular vote election. This election is about 3 or 4 states that Trump won.

...since the assertion was that she wouldn't.

But as long as you mention it, whether you beat Trump by 3 points or 10 points in a state doesn't matter, you get the same electoral votes either way.

That said, yes, I'd like to beat him by a wider margin, well outside the MoE. We'll see what the numbers look like 5-6 months from now, when it can actually start influencing people's votes.

The Obama voters who deserted HRC will vote for her in the GE. Another article on DU points out how she outperformed HRC in western Mass counties that are in line with the types of places HRC lost in 2016. Warren is seen as real and communicates with the averge voter. Also, Mass was loathe to elect women statewide until she won.

the other night. Trump needs to build that wall or else! Dobbs said Warren is coming right at Trump. Rollins said hard as it was for him to admit it she’s running the best campaign “for her base.” They appeared to be much less concerned about Biden.

It’s in Washington Examiner world if you want to find it.

https://www.mediaite.com/tv/lou-dobbs-concerned-about-whos-advising-trump-if-he-forgets-who-his-base-is-its-gonna-be-a-dandy-of-an-election/

They're speculating that she'll be the "next up" if Biden falters. And yes, they're complimentary about her campaign.

But Ed Rollins also says, "I don't think she'll be tough to beat in the general."

Rollins also predicted that if Warren wins Iowa, "Biden's done." Former wannabe presidents Gephardt and Harkin found out that winning Iowa didn't guarantee the nomination, and a candidate can come in 3rd or 4th in Iowa and still win the primary.

Michael Goodwin, the other expert there, said that when Sanders drops out, Warren will pick up his supporters, a false idea that none of the polling so far supports.

So this wasn't the most informed discussion.

Anyway, some speculation I saw on Twitter was that this was another of Dobbs' warning shots to try to scare Trump, to try to get him to build the wall, veto any gun control, etc.

I disagree. I find it interesting the things Biden supporters come up with on this site to back their candidate. It seems to be 90 percent about the polls and things like this and very little about his proposals and record.

BTW, did you see the latest national poll that has Biden and Warren in a virtual tie? Guess if Hannity starts attacking Warren you will have to agree that she is the stronger candidate.

that he could read polls and he's happy with two he believes mean it's less likely Biden will be the nominee. There have been a LOT of polls, including from Fox News, showing Biden beating Trump, both nationally and in key states. In some of the polls a few other candidates including Warren also beat Trump, but by narrower margins than Biden's, but in others, while Biden beats Trump, Warren loses to him. That's why Hannity is happy about polls showing Democrats he believes are weaker candidates against Trump now doing well against Biden. They're most afraid of Biden.

As for that national poll you mention in your second paragraph there -- try reading my OP more carefully. I refer to it there. It's one of the polls Hannity was tweeting about.

I've also posted a couple of threads here about that poll. One was about Warren being farther behind Biden when only Dems are considered (which matters with closed primaries) and about the poll having apparently rounded numbers in a way that makes it appear Warren''s closer to Biden than she is.

The other was about Biden still having a clear advantage in that poll when voters are asked which candidate is most likely to beat Trump.

Of course I never said he was brilliant, just that the poster seems to think he is based on his post. It's easy to understand that, unless one is out to mislead.

You really should try some honesty and ask why you do nothing on here but make personal attacks on me and others, using falsehoods and stalking tactics. Then do a self-assessment as to why your life has come to this.
