(112,136 posts)Beto is in fifth place at 4% while Buttigieg is in sixth place at 3%. Within the MOE, but this is the first poll that I've seen in awhile where Beto is ahead of Pete.

(25,467 posts)It's kind of confusing. The alignment is between Harris and Scott's new company, not the Rasmussen Reports of polling fame.

(5,275 posts)I worry that we may be repeating 2016, nominating someone because its their turn.
However it turns out their can be no hard feelings, anybody we put up is something Orange Hitler is not, a sane human being.

(49,378 posts)Biden is likely the only candidate with the leadership qualities and political connections needed to repair Trump' damage. America needs his expertise, no time for amateurs.

(1,736 posts)The majority support other candidates, though. And to call the others amateurs diminishes the accomplishments of a great group of candidates, some of which, like Inslee, have served as a chief administrator.
Also, it's worth remembering that the delegate race is still tied at 0.

(49,378 posts)that can plug up the many holes the Trump Administration will leave behind. Although Gov. Inslee has spent a considerable amount of time in U.S.Congress, he lacks the necessary connections and political clout to jump start a new government.
President Biden will be ready on day one.

(1,736 posts)And, skills and philosophies vary as to what matters are urgent. Inslee has been clear about what his highest priority would be, and it's a quite compelling priority.
I wish we were less general about what it means to jump start a government. Several of the candidates, IMO, are more specific and focused about their transition plans than Biden, whose skills as a front-facing administrator still need to be tested.
