If he can bring this level of energy and passion to the national stage, he can break through the noise and basic media indifference to his campaign. Because it's this level of commitment and honesty that swung the spotlight in his direction in the Texas senate race. This is a strong speech and frankly takes guts to deliver to an Arkansas audience. It's all about exposure at this point and breaking through the narrative the press has been writing about O'Rourke. If he brings this level of engagement to the debate stage, that narrative rewrite will open to his advantage. He has a story worth listening to and despite all the criticism, he still has that it factor. He gets that ignited? This race will become very interesting, very quickly.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
