ABC unveils moderators for third Democratic debate

ABC News on Wednesday unveiled the four moderators who will host the third Democratic presidential primary debate next month in Houston.

The debate will be moderated by ABC chief anchor George Stephanopoulos, "World News Tonight" anchor David Muir, ABC News correspondent Linsey Davis and Univision anchor Jorge Ramos, the network announced.

The debate will be held at Texas Southern University on Sept. 12. A second night will be held on Sept. 13, if more than 10 candidates qualify.

...

The qualifying candidates are: Former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julián Castro, former Vice President Joe Biden, Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.), South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg, Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.), Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.), former Texas Rep. Beto O'Rourke, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) and tech entrepreneur Andrew Yang.

I hope two more make it so that they can do 6 each night.

I really want to see Biden and Warren on the same stage on the same night.

Maybe her staff will read it and push ABC to the two night setup.

Better yet. Now that the format has been announced, let's see how the candidates that are in react. They may force ABC to the two night format out of the gate.

Also please ask her to petition to have no audience present. An impossible task, I know, but it's cathartic to say it. As a teenager watching presidential debates, I couldn't fathom why the hell they even had an audience, and the intervening 35 years haven't done much to change my mind. Maybe I'm alone in this, but enough already with the cheering, jeering and clapping from the supporters. Not to mention how it eats into the candidates' response time. Let the participants' responses stand on their own.

primary today, I would vote for:
