Democratic Primaries
Related: About this forumOn single issues we should be debating Congressional
repub candidates since Congress will decide what is done.
Unless we control Congress and the White House nothing will be done about climate change.
Our Congressional candidates in swing states need to convince voters of the need for climate change legislation. A debate on that level could do that.
A Dem Presidential single issue debate will not educate anyone new about the need for climate change legislation.
All Dem candidates agree on the need for climate change legislation. A single issue debate would be a food fight where each candidate will try to out climate change each other.
None of what is said would become reality. Presidents do not make law.
