Not one of the Sunday morning news shows on ABC, NBC, CBS or CNN engaged in the smearing of Biden.

I recorded these shows earlier today (namely, ABC's This week, NBC's Meet the Press, CBS's Face the Nation and CNN's State of the Union) and watched all of them in their entirety.

They all touched on the recent CNN Poll showing Biden as the front-runner and some mentioned Jill's electability message and compared that to the messages of other candidates like Booker and Warren. Nothing beyond this, regarding Biden, was covered.

They rightly spent most of their time focusing on the effects of Trump's trade war with China, his tweets affecting the markets, and his trip to Europe for the G7 meeting.

These shows hold themselves out to be the gold standard when it comes to political reporting and I was pleased that they did the right thing, today, and lived up to what is expected of them.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

Yesterday I caught CBS's morning show, and they brought up what Biden had said about imagining if Obama was assassinated -- but without ANY context. Then one of the hosts asked, "WHY would he say that?" and they went on to another topic.

And I wanted to bang my head against a wall.

The Five W's of journalism, as anyone who's ever taken a journalism class knows, are

Who
What
When
Where
Why

and the Why requires context.

Which journalists are supposed to provide, and they didn't, on that show.

Can get enough points against Trump he will lose. Finally we are getting those who do not care what Trump says about them to go after him.
If his craziness keeps getting worse some will have to take action.

His latest? Nuking a hurricane to stop it. Obama would have been rode out of town on a rail if he had said anything close.

I have started watching Face The Natin. MTP and Tapper are too predicatble. I do not stay around to watch Christie. He lies like Trump.

I know there are a LOT of bright rays out there....I just don't see them on the tv or via internet all the much. Good for them. We have to, the media and ourselves, keep focused on what really matters, and NOT the shiny object these heathens throw in front of us to distract from the shit storm we are facing.

I DO want to hear policy proposals from Joe, and all the other contenders that have ideas that are realistic and helpful for this country of ours. I was once so proud to be an American. NOT anymore. I almost feel the need to apologize to people from other countries for the damage we are doing to the world and governments around the world today, and for decades before....but especially for today.

“You may like another candidate better, but you have to look at who is going to win."

That's pretty sad as rallying cries go. Especially when the latest polls have Warren and Sanders beating Trump comfortably by 7-9 points.

chances. The ACA is popular not MFA where you lose your subsidized (by your employer) in many cases work place insurance And unless she can win AA support, she will not be the nominee nor should she. This is a very important Democratic constituency.

I would work my ass off for her or any nominee and send financial support too...but I don't see her attracting independent voters or winning blue wall states which we desperately need to win.
