I believe this is the appropriate forum and has relevance to our primary

“We are dividing into hostile tribes cheering against each other, fueled by emotion and a mutual disdain that jeopardizes our future, instead of rediscovering our common ground and finding solutions."

-James Marttis

We need someone to bind the nation's wounds that are exacerbated by Trump or at least try.
If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

But try not to project your own emotional reactions onto everyone else in a primary. Many, many people attempt to maintain a somewhat more objective perspective.

But this is NOT happening within the Democratic Party, in spite of all the media spin.

Sure, hostile LWers and some blue dogs who always vote Republican for president are always with us. What's new except learning Russia's helping them so they don't have to flail hopelessly alone?

But the large majority of Democrats who make up our very diverse, liberal party are united both ideologically and against the huge external threat. We see that in our leading Democratic candidates, who currently have to pretend relatively minor differences in their means to the same ends amount to hugely important ones.
