"SNIP......

Voters on the campaign trail continue to say they like Warren, but they aren't sure she can win. It's something researchers and Democratic strategists think she can get past, and they say her rise might be proving the naysayers wrong already.

POLITICSWhat Iowa Democrats Want In A 2020 Candidate: Someone Who Can Beat Trump

"She's so good at explaining her ideas in a way that makes sense to the audience," said Karen Finney, a Democratic strategist who worked on the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign and Stacey Abrams' Georgia bid for governor but is not currently affiliated with any presidential campaign. "And she's winning people over; the challenge will be all the money that will be spent to make her ideas sound scary."

Debbie Walsh, director of the Center for American Women and Politics at Rutgers University, said the questions about Warren's electability are something of a self-fulfilling prophecy.

"In some ways, it seems like it's a story that is self-perpetuating," Walsh said. "There are a lot of people who say they're enthusiastic about her, but afraid others aren't — and that creates this notion that she or a woman in general won't become electable."

her electability. I think she's a wonderful, sharp, genuine lady (past indiscretion aside). But I don't think she can beat Trump. I think her politics are too far left to form a winning coalition.

I know she is a great egg. That comes across in all her policy positions. Being able to imagine her being teased would help me see it visually. I'm not getting much of a visual right now and 10% of voters are dyslexics who are visual based. Plus it would diminish how Trump makes fun of her indigenous heritage issue. We are all blessed and challenged. The only person who is the best, least racist, smartest, stable, big crowded politician is Trump. And i'd like to see that contrast between the two of them in the big race. Plus swing state voters seem to like politicians who make gaffes like Biden or Trump. They don't like pointy headed intellectuals. IMHO

that the debates are making much of a difference in the primary race. In fact, I recall one poll asking voters if the debates changed their minds, and 80% said No.

as for the primary race i think everyone has been waiting for Joe and Liz to share the stage. We'll see.

And she is fighting the corporate state...............................and yes, I am bias....................and she will hold her own ground and her common sense plans..............................again, I am bias.........................when she was kicked off the senate floor....................................by the guy from Kentucky.........................

So far, she's been lucky to avoid having to face anyone who could seriously challenge her. And Bernie doesn't count, he will probably never say a negative thing about her, and vice-versa.

they were pretty chummy at the last debate. Also, there's not a massive difference in their positions on most of the issues, and I think they respect each other as allies. Certainly, if one of them were to become President, that person would need the help and cooperation from the other in getting an agenda through the Senate.

It would not surprise me if they were to cut a deal under the right circumstances. Say that we go into the convention with Joe Biden holding 40% of the first-ballot delegates, and the combination of Sanders and Warren holding over 50% of that number. If the alternative is to wait for the superdelegates to put Biden over the top, I can see them working out a situation where Sanders is the nominee, and Warren is his VP, in order to ensure that a Democratic Presidency does not go the way of a moderate administration.

if she publicly asks him to call off his attack dogs, or at least repudiate their remarks. My guess is that she will ignore them, both to avoid a confrontation with Sanders, and to not breathe new life into the surrogate attacks.

She's got her eyes on the prize, and the only one I expect her to attack is Trump.
