I think the two candidates who've framed Trump the best in this race have been Biden & Beto.

They've done a fantastic job of defining him as a gutless, pathetic, hateful xenophobic, racist bully.

I do think, if Biden is the nominee, he's likely to select a woman or person of color, maybe even a woman person of color, but I'd love of a Biden-Beto ticket.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

Beto is just so smart, and caring. I sure wish his campaign would catch fire

a Biden-Beto ticket but I think if Biden is our candidate he will chose someone just as inspiring in a female VP candidate.

Sanders maybe, but he seems to be defending against other Dems and the media right now.

Honestly, Beto has a bright future, but I don't think a VP slot is realistic. We have too many highly qualified POC and women for that to be justified after 231 years and 58 Presidential elections.

4. Biden would never pick Beto

First, there's the gender/race problem. Two white straight males on a ticket is a recipe for electoral disaster.

Second, O'Rourke is way too self-effacing. He's more about "caring" and not about toughness, and Biden will need an attack dog.

When the debate stage criterion gets to the five percent mark, we'll be down to four or five candidates.

respected your analysis, and the fact that you include that sentence shows that you still have a top-notch grasp of reality. I just don't think the O'Rourke people should get their hopes up. I don't want them feeling resentful on Election Day, like some of the Sanders supporters did in 2016.

7. Joe Biden's childhood struggle with a stutter: How he overcame it and how it shaped him

Joe is very well equipped to take on trump the bully

Valerie Biden Owens, the former vice president’s younger sister, says that one lasting impact of his childhood stutter is that it has given him more empathy and compassion for others’ trials, and it uniquely equips him to handle Trump’s taunts.

“Trump is a bully, and Joe has been standing up to bullies his entire life,” Owens said in an interview. “Joe’s stuttering, I think, is one of the principal reasons — a major, major, major reason — that he is the good and compassionate and kind man that he is.”

About 3 million Americans suffer from the speech impediment of stuttering, marked by involuntary repetition of sounds, syllables or words. According to the National Institute on Deafness and other Communication Disorders, most children outgrow their stutter, but for 25% of them, stuttering is a lifelong challenge.

Biden has overcome the serious stutter of his youth, but remnants of it resurface on occasions such as when he is very tired, he said in a 2016 speech. Experts on stuttering who follow him closely say they have noticed it on several occasions during the campaign, such as an interview on “The View” when he addressed complaints about his tendency to touch and hug women while campaigning, and an April speech in Pittsburgh launching his campaign, when he struggled with words.
