Clearly not a scientific poll. The way it works is, you have to fill out your name, age, email, and party preference while a volunteer watches. You could vote more than once but you'd have to fill it all out again & you won't get by entering something like "Mickey Mouse" for your name. When I was at the booth today, there was quite a line that only truly dedicated troll would be willing to stand in more than once.
So, when the volunteer is happy with what you've filled in they give you one soy bean & you drop it in the tube for the candidate of your choice. The tubes will not be emptied until the booth closes when the fair ends (Labor Day).
Warren is running away with it. Followed by Klobuchar & Biden (pretty much even), Sanders, & Harris (though she is quite a ways behind Bernie).
Amy may want to wonder why she's not getting more love from her home state.
The DFL booth was mobbed (one women waiting in line with me said she thought she'd just stay there as she felt she was among friends.) On the other hand, the Republican booth had a couple tumble weeks blowing through it when I walked passed.
