and yeah, I know a few folks like her because she went after Harris, or because she's anti war in the middle east (but not anywhere else).

But she's still a joke, and it's ridiculous that she's this close to being on the debate stage again in October.

She's not a progressive. If she lived somewhere other than Hawaii, she'd certainly not be a Democrat.

Her domestic policies are virtually identical to Sanders and Warren. Her congressional voting record is also comparably progressive. She actually quit her position on the DNC in 2016 in order to support Sanders. She's more progressive than the blue dog Dems of many states.

Joe Biden

She's not on our side, you apparently have bought that she is, she's not.

If she supports Sanders in 2016, you can question her credentials as a Dem; but if she supported Clinton, you could question her credentials as a progressive. Her stated positions and votes since 2013 have been on the progressive side, and her support of Sanders in 2016 was consistent with her positions and votes since coming to congress in 2013, i.e. dating to before Sanders was ever a candidate.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

including Sanders once the primary was over, and Warren.

I'm sorry you seem to believe she's on our side, that she has no ties to Russia, that she's just another old progressive.

She isn't.

I am not taking a firm position on the other things you mention, other than to say that there's an awful lot of speculation involved.

My point in this thread was only to counter your statement, "She's not a progressive. If she lived somewhere other than Hawaii, she'd certainly not be a Democrat." That statement is simply not supported by the evidence. Her positions and voting records since 2013 are overwhelmingly progressive. There is no state where someone with her positions would reasonably run as a Republican. Changing the subject to speculation about her loyalties and such doesn't change any of that.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

to speculate about, so lotta smoke for there not to be fire.

Talking about her loyalties absolutely is about whether she's a real progressive or simply doing what she can where she is to help certain folks.

And if she were somewhere else, she'd be doing something different.

primary today, I would vote for:
