Warren passes Biden in new nationwide poll

A new national survey shows Elizabeth Warren now sitting atop the 2020 Democratic field, further cementing her ascendancy in the party’s presidential primary after a pair of polls showed her leading in the first two primary states.

Twenty-seven percent of Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents polled by Quinnipiac University said they favor Warren, according to a new poll released Wednesday morning. Twenty-five percent said they prefer former Vice President Joe Biden.

Although Warren’s edge falls within the survey’s margin of error, Biden’s formidable lead over the rest of the field has crumbled since the last Quinnipiac national poll in August, which showed him with 32 percent support and Warren with 19 percent support.

The latest survey reinforces other recent public polling showing Warren and Biden separating from their fellow contenders in the Democratic presidential race. Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders ranked third in Tuesday’s poll, achieving 16 percent support, followed by Mayor Pete Buttigieg of South Bend, Ind., with 7 percent, and California Sen. Kamala Harris at 3 percent.

Could not have loved my Paternal Grandfather more, he was an amazing man, was smart in so many ways. He got way ahead of the game by designing and personally building his own house, all of it. But by the time he passed 80 not sure I would have wanted him in the White House, he had lost enough upstairs.

It is no shame, and this goes to Bernie as well, it is what it is. Millions lose.....well their fastball, at 79, 80, 81.....you cannot discount it IMHO.

Warren is not young but years younger and her real age appears a bit younger.

Reality can suck but......

I'm hoping that Bernie can move into second so it ultimately comes down to him and Elizabeth. That's a win-win.

And speaking skills, and intelligence, but is able to relate much better, and why she's gaining a lot of ground on him. I love joe but I think she is better able to clean up all this mess where he isn't. I'll vote for whoever wins the primaries for the Dems, but hope she gets it. Also it's time we have a woman as a President.

She has great proposals. However, the 2020 GE will be won or lost in states, particularly Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania. Remember that Hillary Clinton won the popular vote by almost 3 million votes, and still lost to the squatter in the WH. My support of Biden is primarily because I believe he is the best candidate to beat Trump in those states. He is also experienced and best able to fix our strained relationships with our allies IMO. Winning in 2020 is the ONLY motivation for me. "Middle class Joe" is the key to victory in the electoral college IMHO. No wonder the Orange Buffoon is attempting to discredit him using the power of the presidency.

I've said for months now the nationwide polls are not the ones to win. Everyone should know by now that popular vote does NOT = Presidency. It's about those swing states.

I've been saying it for months, as long as it isn't Bernie, I'm supporting whomever has the strongest polls in those swing states when matched up against Trump. As of now, that's still Biden. Senator Warren overtakes there, I'll have a new sig.
