When do the Pence match-up polls begin? And how will this affect Biden?

Should folks start factoring that in? Will there be a Trumpian war on Biden? Will Pence be Trump's avenger? I guess that will go for any democrat.
Is anyone else feeling a little sick about all this? The vibrational noise is louder than ever!

Happy to see both Bernie and Joe dominating the independents - although could be that lots of independents aren't as involved as of yet? name recognition? Guessing here.

He would appear "moderate" after three years, give or take, of Trump. He's much better at hiding his true agenda than Trump ever could be. Also remember, PA has elected Bob Casey statewide how many times?

12. Don't coronate Pence for the nomination just yet
Wed Sep 25, 2019, 08:10 PM

If it looks like Trump is going down, I fully expect a challenge for the nomination from Mitt Romney. He didn't get elected to the Senate from Utah just to experience the D.C. winter. He's learned from The Godfather, "keep your friends close, keep your enemies closer." I saw him make negative noises about Trump at The Atlantic Festival. And the Salt Lake Tribune is happy to report it:

https://www.sltrib.com/news/politics/2019/09/25/sen-mitt-romney-calls/

Weld and Sanford probably think their star is rising, but they will be swept away by Mittens if Trump is truly toast. Remember, Bobby Kennedy didn't announce his campaign until after LBJ dropped out about April first of 1968, so there's plenty of time to mount a campaign for the GOP nomination, if it looks like Trump isn't going to get the nod.

between the country-clubber Republicons and the fundies, who adore Pence. The infighting in the GOP would be delightful to watch.

I'm not saying that Mittens would get the nomination, just that he intends to try if he sees an opening. Nixon lost in 1960, and came roaring back eight years later, surely that's encouraging to Romney.
