In the (unlikely) event that Pete Buttigieg wins the nomination

then much like Obama in 2008, he's going to need someone by his side who of good standing, who knows Congress, who can make deals, but who is under no illusion that they are dealing with a nest of vipers. I have no idea who that might be. We can count Joe out this time round, so, any guesses?

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:

Too much baggage and would only fuel the right wing media machine. Way too much downside.

I was thinking Bob Casey would be a good pairing. Experienced senator and pretty much guarantees PA goes blue.

She knows her way around a hostile legislature too (she was Minority Leader in the Georgia House of Representatives from 2011 to 2017.)

Perhaps not as well known nationally, but as the #4 House Democrat, he certainly knows how to get things done in Washington. Although, I think he has his eye on the speaker’s gavel.
