Asian voters are a key block that the Democrats are working to mobilize. A candidate in my neck of the woods had a program of having volunteers call voters in 16 languages

Joe understand the need to mobilize these voters

Among my most cherished memories are the time spent during the spring of 1983 in Patiala in India's northern state of Punjab with Sikh hosts and friends. Despite of the restless and unstable period of the revitalization of the Khalsa under the leadership of Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale, not to mention concerns that I was "CIA," I was embraced.

I came to love the Sikhs.
