Emerson National Poll 17-20 November: Bernie 27% (+2), Biden 27% (-), Warren 20% (-1), Buttigieg 7%

https://emersonpolling.reportablenews.com/pr/november-national-poll-support-for-impeachment-declines-biden-and-sanders-lead-democratic-primary

Senator Bernie Sanders is gaining momentum in the race for the Democratic nomination, increasing 2 points from October to at 27%. Former Vice President Joe Biden is also at 27%, holding steady from October. Senator Elizabeth Warren is in third place at 20%, down a point. Mayor Pete Buttigieg is at 7% and Andrew Yang rounds out the top 5 at 4%. All other candidates are below 4%.

I mean, Biden is still ahead in the averages.

But things just got a lot more interesting - especially coming so close to Iowa.

On the other hand , other polling organizations consistently place Bernie in the 12% support range nationwide …..The truth is somewhere in between Emerson's 27% and 12%... Perhaps 19%

5. Surprised to see Sanders getting so much traction with Latino voters.

Throw in a tablespoon of media-bias and a dash of poor polling methodology, and you'll hit the trifecta of rationalizations.

...one of the most well-known politicians in history. There's merit to the argument people didn't know who he was throughout most of the campaign. Buttigieg is facing the same problem with communities of color now.

disapproval, and support for impeachment dropping.

This particular Emerson poll shows Trump with an approval rating up 4 points since last month, and a couple points higher even than Rasmussen Reports is finding (and Rasmussen Reports typically shows a higher approval rating for Trump than any other poll finds).

It's unlikely that all of the other polls are 7-15% off on Sanders. No one else has had him higher than 20% in months.

Joe Biden
