if he is not twisting the arms of his old colleagues, he damn well better get started now.
if he cant slap some sense into lindsey graham, i give him zero points on this score.

same goes for any of the other candidate. show us you can lead NOW.

Assuming that nothing will ever pass because bipartisanship is impossible is rather misguided, as is the assumption many make that a post-Trump Congress will function exactly the same as the current one.

If a few high-profile GOP senators were to get knocked off in 2020 as a result of their attachment to Trump and Trump gets ousted, all bets are off.

By Schumer. I would hope the others have been in contact with Schumer. How Republicans break will be determined by the optics of the inquiry and trial. If a number of Republicans vote for conviction then I bet some of them are already talking behind the scene. The last thing they will want is for a democratic primary candidate to be able to take credit for their change of heart.

My takeaway: Joe Biden is a kind hearted man and an optimist, but he is no fool. He's very angry at Lindsey and will never trust him again.

As for the rest of the GOP -- first Trump has to go, and then we'll see. Not "all is forgiven, please come home," but we'll see how they do. Elect Democrats overall, not just the POTUS.

nothing good until Trump is gone and maybe not even then. Romney was willing to kill thousands of people by ending the ACA on day one if he defeated Trump which he did not thank God. And what he did while working in Equities in Ohio and other places was horrible and disgraceful; he hurt many people. I don't like Romney and don't consider him to have much if any good in him.
