538: Does A Biden-Abrams Ticket Make Sense For Biden Or Abrams?

Interesting discussion between Nate Silver and other editors at 538 and a political science professor at Marquette University re: the rumors that Biden will announce with Abrams as VP.

No. He should wait until further in the primary when some have dropped and pick close runners up Shell_Seas Mar 2019 #1
Abrams is great but I think Biden-Beto makes the most sense if Biden's the nominee Power 2 the People Mar 2019 #5

I like Biden a lot, but unless Biden gets the nomination ... and I doubt that he will ... Abrams has ruined her chance to be on the winning ticket. And there are a lot of other candidates that could feasibly choose her as a running mate.

primary today, I would vote for:

In their collective opinion, they saw generally little downside for Biden. For Abrams, they didn't think it made sense. They thought she should run for president herself or keep her options open.

If a panel of experts and I came to the same conclusion ... it must be wrong.

primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
