In Iowa, Kamala Harris touts her $3 trillion tax-cut plan; itd give the bottom 20% of earners an average of $3,200 in after-tax gains, per TPC.

In Des Moines, @KamalaHarris is asked about her brief time in the U.S. Senate. Two years in the swamp, Harris says at the first event of her weekend Iowa swing. And its a big swamp.

(85,992 posts)...I started doing photo essays in campaigns before twitter got up to speed.
I'd post articles with pics from google and other reports alongside the news blurbs. Twitter streamlined all of that for me and actually gives me more sources and more direct access to daily events.
One thing I found is that the opportunities for each candidate aren't the same. Harris has far more coverage, and far more telegenic moments recorded and posted, for whatever reason. I used to post photo essays of rival candidates at the same time, but I'm not finding much inspiring me yet.
Thanks for the thanks, Doc. It's nice to know it's more than my own edification at work here.

One thing they need to look good are supporters willing to make the effort to promote their best side.

(1,936 posts)22 trillion in the hole isn't enough? I would rather hear about repealing the previous 3 rounds of tax cuts that fattened the wallets of billionaires and corporations, then using the proceeds to support social programs that help the bottom two-thirds of earners.
Or is it just because "tax cuts" has more sound bite appeal.

(3,259 posts)That her plan would lift 9 million people out of poverty. It is an enormous shift of the tax burden. It isnt a tax cut plan. Its a complete changing of the direction of who pays what.
