Zero tolerence for sexism.

This is my request for the Primaries. When tempers are frayed it’s easy to slip into misogynist media narratives.

I’ll give you an example. In 2008 Joe Scarborough referred to Hillary’s laugh in an interview as a ‘cackle’ . DU became consumed with it. This time round the RW is saying Kamala has a ‘witch like’ cackle.

Elizabeth, Kamala, and Amy are fine candidates. In the heat of battle it’s not to much to ask posters to pull back if they cross the line. A simple ‘that’s sexism let it go’ would do.

Sure, but in my many years on DU, I rarely see the person accept the criticism and move on. You seem to be pinning the continued drama on the poster calling out the behavior. I'm not sure that's always or even usually the case.

primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

I think there were three separate threads on HIllary’s cackle. Sometimes a respectful request can lower the temperature.

I have to admit I'm not holding much hope though.
